Wix vs WordPress – Today, I get into a brief comparison between WordPress and Wix in order to help you figure out which of the two could be the best choice for you.

Now, it’s not really that complicated per se, you can always install plugins and make your life much easier. And there are a few automated things that plugins do for you. And you don’t really have to be that tech savvy, but you just need to learn your way around WordPress. And it’s not just a one day thing, where you get yourself a WordPress hosting plan. And you’re good to go that same day. Though, if you do get it from hosting or they will definitely help you out they have a very good support team that’s available 24/7. So you can rest assured that the hosting or team can actually help you out quite a bit with your WordPress website setup. Now with regards to design and customization wakes actually has over 800 professionally designed templates for you to work off of, but you can’t switch templates without redesigning your site. So that’s something to keep in mind. Now with WordPress, WordPress gives you almost limitless control over your site’s aesthetic, especially if you have coding knowledge. But if you don’t have any coding knowledge, you don’t really have to do any of that you can just go to the themes and you know, add a new theme and pick one of these themes. Whereas we’re the wakes, the customization is a little bit limited, but all the features and functions are closely controlled, monitored and tested to ensure that they work properly. Whereas if you go to WordPress and start installing all kinds of plugins, it could break down because you’re not really supposed to do that. So you know, your plugin choice should be a little bit more educated rather than just random. But considering the limitless customization, I think WordPress is definitely worth the consideration here. Now in terms of E commerce, all you need to do with WordPress is go and look up WooCommerce and you can install this plugin right here, which will help you create an online store and it’s better for pure e commerce sites or for selling in bulk. So if e commerce is what you really care for, I think WordPress is going to definitely benefit you especially as you learn your way through WordPress and know what it really offers. You know with Wix, you do have built in sales features in any of its e commerce plans and it’s perfect for selling a few products
but if you’re interested in growing your business, then I would definitely recommend WordPress in this case. Now in terms of blogging, you can go to Wix and just select the personal blog category right here and it supports mobile, blogging and contributing authors. It includes a free media library, though with WordPress. It also supports categories and tagging along with featured images post backdating and private posts in terms of SEO. So if you don’t want to do any of that work, and you just want to open some kind of a personal blog or a small website or a tiny online store, then wakes will probably do the job just fine. But either way, if you’re looking for my personal recommendation, if you have the time, you can definitely go with wordpress if you’re looking for a hosting provider that’s worth investing in hosting your offers a whole lot of packages and a bunch of different web hosting types, you know from VPS, to shared web hosting to WordPress, cloud hosting, and all kinds of web hosting packages that are available.
